Grassroots
Fun. Foundation. Future. The first step on every player's pathway.
Every great player starts somewhere. Keystone's Grassroots programs give young players their first real introduction to the game — building confidence, technical foundation, and a genuine love of soccer, in an environment built for fun and growth, not pressure.
Keystone Kickers
Under 4 - Under 6
Our earliest-age program lives on its own site, designed just for our youngest players and their families. Kickers focuses on introducing the game through play — building comfort with the ball, basic movement, and a love of being on the field, all in a low-pressure, parent-involved environment.
Youth Development Program (YDP)
Under 5 - Under 8
YDP is part of Keystone FC's Grassroots Program, building the foundation for our Competitive Program. Teams are set at the start of each season based on player availability — U5 and U6 teams are typically co-ed, while U7 and U8 teams are gender-specific. Friend requests are accepted to support each player's social development.
General Information
- One practice per week (weekday of your choice); games on Saturday mornings
- Each player receives a YDP shirt
- Player-to-coach ratio no greater than 10:1
- Practices run 60 minutes: 20–30 min ball-work, 15 min application, 15-minute game
- Players should wear shorts, shirt, socks, shin guards, and cleats

Recreation Program
Under 9 - Under 12
The Recreation program is part of Keystone FC's Grassroots Program, offering an option for players and families who don't want to commit to competitive-level soccer — including the travel and time commitment that comes with it. Teams are single-gender when possible, and co-ed when needed to field enough players for regular competition. Teams are set at the start of each season based on player availability. Friend requests are accepted to support each player's social development.
