YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
WHAT IS THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (YDP)?
The Youth Development Program (YDP) programs are part of the Keystone FC Grassroots Program. The YDP builds the foundation for our Competitive Program. YDP begins at Under 5 and runs until Under 8. Teams are set at the beginning of the season based on player availability. Under 5 & 6 teams are typically co-ed. Under 7 and 8 teams are gender specific. Friend requests are accepted to help with the social development of each player.
General Information:
- One practice per week, weekday of your choice; games on Saturday mornings
- Each player will receive a YDP shirt
- Friend requests are accepted to help with the social development of each player
- Ratio of players to coach will be no greater than 10:1
- All practices last 60-minutes and include 20-30-minutes of ball-work; 15-minutes of ball-work application; and a 15-minute game
- Players should wear shorts, shirt, socks, shin guards and cleats
